NDR BigBand: Django Bates - Ode to Joy

Für Ode to Joy hat Bates Stücke aus dem 2008 veröffentlichten Album Spring Is Here (Shall We Dance?) ausgewählt, dazu neuere Werke wie „Shorter Side Up“, in Erinnerung an den großen Menschen und Musiker Wayne Shorter geschrieben, sowie eine typische „Bates Beats the Beat“-Interpretation des Disco-Hits „Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us Now“. • Django Bates (p) · Nikki Iles (cond) · NDR Bigband • #contemporary #adjacent
